Last week, WITT international and Wingfield PR hosted an elegant breakfast for their SS16 press launch. Members of the press were invited to join us in the private dining room at the renowned Ivy in Covent Garden, London.

Members of the fashion press from publications such as Woman and Home, Take a Break and The Daily Mail were all treated to a sit down, delicious breakfast.

Back in December we moved to a swanky new office on Newman Street, just around the corner from Great Titchfield Street. We’re now all settled in and even with the four flights of stairs; we love it.

We have also been busy with new clients. At the beginning of October, we welcomed Creative Tops to the Wingfield PR family. Established in 1996, Creative Tops are a luxury homeware brand, who specialise in style and quality. Their collections include dinner sets, trays, coasters and kitchen accessories to name a few. We are looking to recruit an Account Executive to join our friendly and creative team. The successful candidate will work across a number of fashion and homeware clients and will be involved in all aspects of the business.

Candidates must be self-motivated, ambitious and have strong time management and organisational skills. They will help in managing the expectation of brands and clients as well as implementing new systems and helping with photo shoots etc. The AE will have fantastic press contacts both online and offline including key and relevant bloggers.

The AE will be co-ordinating all product mailings and press requests on a daily basis, implementing PR strategies, timelines and press launch activities, pitching to digital, national and regional fashion and homeware consumer media. Alongside maintaining and nurturing relationships with key media and collating and analysing press media coverage and client reports.

AE Requirements:

• 18 months agency experience in either fashion or homewares (preferably both)
• Must have great fashion and homewares (preferably both) print, online and blogger contacts
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• A great understanding of social media
• Enjoy being part of a team and getting stuck in with every aspect of the business
• Work well as part of a team but also be self motivated and use own initiative
• Be creative with ideas and possess out of the box thinking
• Be passionate about the fashion and homewares industry

The relaxed setting allowed for an evening of shoe talk, cocktails and delicious food, where the stylists could look at the key styles coming up and ask the founder & designer Meroe about her inspiration and techniques.

At the end of the evening each stylist was given a small token from the brand, a small glittered coin purse, a bottle of rum and a recipe book to create the perfect rum cocktail.
